How does sharing work?
You invite your partner from inside the app. They accept on their own phone, sign in, and immediately see the same envelopes, transactions, and balances as you — updated in real time.
Do we both need a subscription?
No. One subscription covers your whole household — invite your partner at no extra cost.
Can we each connect our own bank accounts?
Yes. Both of you can link your own checking, savings, and credit cards via Plaid. All transactions flow into the same shared budget.
Can my partner see all my transactions?
Yes — that's the point of a shared budget. Everyone in the workspace sees every transaction in real time. If you want separate budgets, just don't invite them.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — a 1-month free trial via the App Store. Cancel anytime in your iPhone Settings.
Does it work on Android?
Not yet — Our Envelope Budget is currently iOS and macOS only. Both of you need an iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
